Movie Day Charity - Looney Tunes - Back in Action(2003)
As for the movie, it was of course a real treat. It has been quite a long time since we have got to meet up with Bugs Bunny and friends (Or should I say Daffy Duck and friends?). The movie actually talks about Daffy Duck being jealous of Bugs Bunny because he is getting all the attention. As a result, Daffy followed a fired stuntman, Bobby (Brenden Fraser) in a quest to search for the “Blue Diamond” to help save every human in the world to be turned into The Rundown like monkeys. The fact that the likes of Tasmanian Devil, Coyote, Road Runner and Tweety Bird making a return to the big screen makes this movie even more interesting. The animation is not as advanced as movies such as Finding Nemo or Shrek but Bugs and Daffy managed to crack plenty of silly jokes to keep the crowd happy. Yeah… Whats up doc? (Check out a cameo from Michael Jordan as well!)
In the end, this movie premiere ended successfully. We managed to achieve the target and it will be a real boost for our Golden Jubilee next year (1st Kuala Lumpur will turn 50 next year). At least this time, the people who donate could get to watch a movie in return compared to previous years. So, what movie shall it be next year Mr. Chairman? Spiderman 2?
